29th Annual Cotton Patch Challenge Bike Ride and Gravel Grinder

The Rotary Club of Greenville hosts this annual bike ride on Saturday, September 21st, which benefits local charities. There are 8 scenic routes this year: 6, 12, 21, 35, 46, 61, 76 and 100 miles (the longer two travel across the Two Mile Bridge at Lake Tawakoni). The Gravel Grinder will have three routes that all travel through a portion of the Sabine River bottom: 31, 42 and 57 miles. Registration information is at this link, and you’re encouraged to register early, but they will accept day-of-ride registrations, which will be done at Landon Winery’s patio. The ride starts at 8am at Johnson St. at Washington in Downtown Greenville.
