Bras for the Cause

Over 100 elaborately decorated bras will be displayed in Downtown Greenville from 6:00 to 8:30 pm in this wild and wacky benefit for the Hunt Regional Healthcare Foundation. Admission is free and the public is invited to vote on their favorites for $1 per vote. Be prepared for some shameless campaigning by some of the bra creators as they lobby for your votes!
Awards will be presented to the top money-raising bras and to judged entries in various categories. This year’s theme is “BRA-stalgia” and we expect lots of the bras will be inspired by each of the decades of the past 100 years.
All of the money raised stays in Hunt County, and is going towards the purchase of a new/upgraded Mobile Mammography Coach, which will travel around Hunt County and the surrounding counties to screen for breast cancer and osteoporosis. Restaurants along Lee Street will offer dinner, with a portion of the proceeds going to Bras for the Cause. And we have lots of fun surprises planned during the evening, too! It’s a magical time in Downtown Greenville.
Viewing and voting on the entries is from 6-8:30 pm, and the awards ceremony will begin about 9:00 pm at the Emerald Ballroom.
