National Day of Prayer Ceremony

Thursday, May 6th is the National Day of Prayer, and you are invited to join the Greenville Ministerial Fellowship and the Greenville Ministerial Alliance in their annual observance of this day at noon on the North (Lee St.) side of the Hunt County Courthouse. This is an interdenominational service. Local clergy and laity are expected to participate in prayers for local, state and federal governments, as well as for government leaders, youth, schools and the community as a whole. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the First Baptist Church, 2703 Wesley Street in Greenville. The National Day of Prayer is always held on the first Thursday of May, when people of all faiths are asked to pray for the nation.
