The Library’s Summer Reading Adventure begins on Saturday, May 31st with Register to Read starting at 10 am. All ages are welcome to participate. But that’s just part of the fun for the kick-off day:
- The Library’s annual Touch-A-Truck event will take place from 10am to noon in the parking lot in from of the Library. They expect to have have more trucks, vehicles, and tractors than ever before. But there’s always room for another vehicle! If you’re a business or an organization that would like to bring a truck, a tractor or a vehicle so that kids can climb on and explore and learn more about, please contact jhayden@ci.greenville.tx.us.
- “Andy the Armadillo” will be there from 10am-noon
- “Champ” the mascot of the Dallas Mavericks, will be on hand from 11am-noon for a meet and greet/autograph session.
- 200 Free Corn Dogs (1/person) will be given away from 12-2pm
- Balloon Twisting will happen from 11am-12:30pm
- Danni Doodles will be drawing free caricatures from noon-2pm
- The Ramazini’s Circus will perform at 2pm.
